What is Street Art? It's Any art developed in public spaces, that is "In The Streets", though the term usually refers to unsanctioned art, as opposed to government sponsored initiatives, making it illegal almost every time. The term can include traditional graffiti artwork, sculpture, sticker art, wheat pasting and street poster art, video projection, art intervention, guerrilla art, flash mobbing and street installations. Most of the time, the term street art, or the more specific term "post-graffiti", is used to tells people who live in that public-space what the difference is from territorial graffiti, vandalism, and corporate art. Now, like I said, its illegal. So how does anyone get famous without getting caught? By being 100% discreet with it, and having a street name. The fastest form of graffiti would have to be Stencil Graffiti, and no one does stencil graffiti better than Banksy.
